Each year, MUD schools train hundreds of students from around the globe in a variety of make-up specialties. From day one, students are immersed in the fundamentals of make-up artistry with aspirations of working in the fashion, entertainment or retail cosmetic industries. MUD gives future artists the opportunity to discover their own unique style under the training of licensed instructors with professional expertise in film, television and fashion. Their vision begins to come alive as they infuse their talent with skill whether it be within the intricacies of prosthetic or the delicacy of beauty make-up.

The Beauty Essentials course is designed as an introduction to beauty make-up with an emphasis on the techniques required today in the beauty, entertainment, and fashion industries. This foundation course is based on the same comprehensive curriculum that has made MUD a leader in make-up education and is taught at MUD’s New York and Los Angeles campuses. Upon successful completion of this 84 hour course, you will receive a certificate of completion from Make-up Designory (MUD) and a Makeup Pro card that gives artists 20% off retail/online MUD stores as well as free advanced training courses at their LA and NYC home campuses.

Brown Beauty Barber School is PROUD to be one of the first Partner Schools with MUD in the Southeast! We offer this program to our students as well as stand alone for individuals who do not wish to enroll in school yet but would like to earn their Makeup Certification.

We love to pair professional products with quality education – each course comes with a tool kit to help build your professional supplies. Inside your kit, you will find your text and work book paired with over 10 makeup brushes, lip gloss, lipsticks and liners, volumizing mascara, dreamy foam applicators, 4 foundation and contour palettes and much more!! Each kit contains a unique serial number used to track your progress and assures your appropriate certification.
